［Ippaku Suisei X-Factor Kijoshu］
Looking up, you’ll see a dazzling blue sky, a sight only seen in winter. And sometimes there’s not a single cloud in sight. It’s a sure sign that the weather’s getting colder. This is Imai from the Oishii Sake Club.

This sake, Ippakusuisei X-Factor Kijoshu, has been around for a few years. It’s a kijoshu with a quiet aroma, soft fullness, and a beautiful finish. It’s modestly sweet and not overbearingly acidic, making for a truly elegant experience.

The sake meter reading is -24. However, perhaps due to the carbon dioxide, the sweetness is noticeable in the aftertaste. Since it’s crafted using the Kijoshu method, the sweetness could be more prominent, but that’s not what gives it its elegance.

In other words, it’s less sweet than regular Kijoshu. This is nothing short of a testament to its masterful brewing.

The volume is 300ml, so I recommend it for two people. The label also features a green and red checkered pattern, in the colors of Christmas. So, it’s a label you can keep selling long into the New Year, even after Christmas.
