髙木辰五郎という名は、髙木酒造当主が襲名する名前です。私が知っている髙木顕統氏が現在の当主、即ち、現在の髙木辰五郎です。

先代は酒造りだけではなく、地元の殖産興業に寄与し、市議会議員も務めていた人。名誉ではなく、実利を活かす。私利私欲ではなく、利他を優先した人と聞いています。

酒未来も、この龍の落とし子も、先代・髙木辰五郎氏が育成した稲です。言わば、酒造好適米を作ることで、地元にお金が回る。それを考えての諸行だったようです。
