敢えて昭和中期のラベルで仕立てた「真田六文銭」

真田六文銭とよくぞ名付けたなと思います。

そもそも仏教で六文銭は六道銭と同義であり、それは死後に渡る三途の川の渡し賃を意味しています。真田六文銭の旗印には、死を覚悟して戦いに臨むという、真田氏の強い決意が込められているという通説があります。

同じ上田だからと、山三酒造が別ブランドを立ち上げましたと思ったら、逆だったんです。山三酒造の名を拝した「山三」が新ブランドで、古くから「真田六文銭」があったんです。偉大なる勘違いでした！

というか、なぜ、いままで出してこなかったんだろう？ 地元では出ていたのかな。最近、上田に行く理由がなくなってしまったので、行っていないんですよ、ごめんなさいね。

ということで、調べたら判りました。新チームになってから初めての「真田六文銭」です。 ・
その味わいは生酛造りながらも、これまでの山三と似たような透明感を持ち、軽やかで綺麗な後味を楽しませてくれます。これ、当店のキッシュと合わせたら抜群の相性を見せてくれるでしょうね。

I think it’s great that they named the sake “Sanada Rokumon Sen.”
In the first place, in Buddhism, Rokumon Sen is synonymous with Rokudo Sen, which means the fare to cross the Sanzu River after death. It is commonly believed that the banner of Sanada Rokumon Sen contains the strong determination of the Sanada clan to face battle with the resolve to die.
I thought that Yamasan Sake Brewery had launched a separate brand because it was the same Ueda, but it was the other way around. Yamasan, named after Yamasan Sake Brewery, was a new brand, and Sanada Rokumon Sen had been there for a long time. It was a great mistake!
I wonder why they hadn’t released it before? Maybe it was released locally. I haven’t had a reason to go to Ueda recently, so I’m sorry.
So I looked it up and found out. This is the first “Sanada Rokumon Sen” since the new team was formed.

Although it is made using the kimoto method, it has a similar clarity to previous Yamasan sakes, and leaves a light, clean aftertaste. It would be a perfect match with our quiche.
I wonder if this will also be part of a series?
