おいしい日本酒との出遭いは、まさに一期一会。無理して飲んでもつまらないですが、飲まないで帰ることはもっとつまらないこと。自称・飲兵衛代表、おいしい酒倶楽部の今井です。

おいしい日本酒の代表格「十四代」ですが、その中でも「十四代 荒走り 上諸白純米大吟醸 生」が到着しました。

「上諸白」とは、45％まで磨いた逸材で、それを醸した「荒走り」は、私も過去に数回ぐらいしか飲んだことがありません。取れる本数が少ないため、レア中のレアと言える１本。
・
2023年、2024年と原料米が融けずに、どこの蔵も慌てたり、苦労したりと大変だっただろうと思います。この荒走りも、普段の十四代よりも甘さが控えめに感じますが、その仕立てにしたのかも知れません。

しかし、香りの良さは十四代そのもの。これ、香水にならんものかしらん。あ、要らんことを考えてしまった。でも、調香師に相談してみるか。

The representative of delicious sake is “Juyondai,” and among them, “Juyondai Arabashiri Jomorohaku Junmai Daiginjo Nama” has arrived.

“Juyondai Arabashiri Jomorohaku Junmai Daiginjo Nama” is a rare ingredient that has been polished to 45%, and I have only had the chance to drink “Arabashiri” made from it a few times in the past. Since there are only a few bottles available, this is a rare bottle.

I imagine that in 2023 and 2024, the raw rice did not melt, and all the breweries were in a hurry and had a hard time. This Arabashiri also feels less sweet than the usual Juyondai, but that may have been the reason for its tailoring.

However, the fragrance is just as good as Juyondai. I wonder if this could be made into a perfume. Ah, I’ve thought of something unnecessary. But maybe I should consult a perfumer.
